Hi, My name is Dariona and I am 21 years old! I currently work as a waitress at Texas Roadhouse while attending college as a senior at North Carolina Central University! (Remotely). Even though I work at Texas Roadhouse, I have always adored children ever since I was little. I loved watching over my younger sibling and taking care of their every need. In 2017 my brother blessed me with a niece who I fell in love with ever since she was born. I always watched her from time to time up until today. In high school , I took a child development class that allowed us to work at daycares and attend to the children there for a whole semester. I had the opportunity to obtain a job there after graduating but I decided to go get my degree. I love watching children because you get to see how they grow up while building a bond with them.

In high school, I attended an internship that allowed us to work at daycares and attend to children. I also took care of different families children while they went to work from 8am-4pm.

I enjoy reading to kids, coloring with them, playing games, and just spending time with them altogether. I love taking the kids to the park, going to get ice cream, and doing arts and crafts.

The most important part about being a nanny is being able to care for kids and fulfilling their every need as if they're yours. I also believe that building a bond with them is very important as well because it helps build trust and security.

My experience with special needs children...

Before high school, I used to help out with kids who had special needs. I enjoyed being around them because you get to see and understand how they are from their perspectives. Its very heart heartfulfilling

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when I was watching my four year old niece. I was in the process of patting her back so that she could go to sleep. She interrupted me while patting her to say "okay, that's enough. I'm not a dog" I thought it was hilarious but also cute because she is very smart and bright to be a four year old.
