Hi there! My name is Dasha. I am an English Literature major with a career focused in Broadcast Journalism at the University of New Orleans! My hobbies include and are not limited to, reading, writing, studying, and taking care of my family! Being the oldest sibling out of 4, I’ve always been very careful and good with kids and someday hope to have my own! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a camp counselor a while back! One of my first and most memorable jobs. I loved working with kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Building forts in/outside (something I did often up until age 10), Teaching kids how to cook, reading stories, making bland subjects and topics fun for them to learn about, and watching movies. I’m always good to play safe, get my hands dirty, and do whatever it is that the kids want to do, I might have more fun doing than them. I also am a fitness geek & love exercising and I think that is also one of my fun hobbies that kids can partake in as well!

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me the most about being a nanny is making sure that kids have gained some sort of knowledge or insight about our world and all its wonders. I am a teacher at heart so if Broadcast Journalism doesn’t work out for me, I know where to look to next. I love enlightening young people, I have always wanted to learn more as I get older & I hope I can share that curiosity with other young minds & make sure they always enjoy themselves when I’m around.

My experience with special needs children...

No experience but I am patient & open to any opportunities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I remember helping a kid set up their new apple watch they’d just gotten and they kept asking me about “apple cash” and how it says their watch says it has “infinite funds” but really, it said “insufficient.”
