I’m an eldest sister, and I’ve spent most of my life caring for two younger children, my brother Alix and my sister Lainey. I’ve learned to cook, love to play and will happily take responsibility for cleaning up.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to watch movies with kids, play with dolls and tell stories, read books, color and paint (with proper cleaning if any mess is made!) and play basic little games like hide and seek or tag. I also enjoy child appropriate video games, and would happily give kids any company they’d like in any activity so long as they keep safe!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me the most about being a nanny is giving the kids a safe and fun experience. I love to play around with younger kids, make them laugh and let them play around however they would like, but I also highly value the kids’ safety and will gently but firmly keep them away from activities they aren’t allowed or behaviors that may hurt them.
My experience with special needs children...
In my school, I’ve worked with the special needs classes in the Unity PE program! In this program, I’ve worked with children with cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, brain damage and many other developmental disorders.
