I love being outside and inside. on my off time I love to spend time with my kids even if it’s just hanging out grilling,cutting up laughing. We love to go to movies. My kids are my world. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done volunteer work for the childcare family I had for 12 years. I ran the snack booth and any other jobs at football and baseball games. It’s really not about money when it comes to helping the children I love so much.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing outside ,at home or a park. I love to read to children. I absolutely love crafts. Love going to movies,and summer time the librarys have free movies with snacks. I still love board games! I enjoy watching the children at their practices,and games.whatever sport it may be ! Yes I do like going to the children's games on my own time. I believe the most important part of childcare is interacting with the child !!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me the most important part is their safety! Feeling loved, having all of their needs taken care of. The parents being able to leave child and know that their child will be safe and loved! Following the parents instructions for their children! Also very important to have the trust from the parents. Being very dependable, responsible. Treating the child like they were your own. That’s how it should be. Making the parents feel good with the nanny. The nanny and parents need to be able to talk to each other. Also have a good relationship.! I believe that if anything I may be concerned about or anything problem discussing with parents ! Also same with parents to Nannies.! As well as understanding and compassion ! Helping the family in what is important to them,or certain needs! Earn the trust of parents and children!

My experience with special needs children...

I have taken care of a autism child. Down syndrome. Also ADD! I saw no different in those beautiful children than any others ! They just needed a different kind of care. Love all the same.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Well this is going to be sweet. At the end of my ,I should say with new addition to my family, the family I was working for! It was graduation time for one and at the ceremony receiving his diploma! He asked to say something! He was granted that.He thanked me and said to Dawn I don’t know how all of this would’ve been possible without you. My heart melted! That is a very sweet moment I treasure always.
