More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My mom had a large in home daycare when I was growing up which I helped with throughout grade school. Taking care of children has been part of my life ever since I can remember. I started an in home day care for other children when my son was 2 years old and my daughter was 6 months old. I did that for about two years until my son started preschool. Then I enrolled him in a parent participation preschool which I attened, planned and taught children three days a week. While also attending childhood development classes at night. I have cared for many children through out the years of being a stay at home mom for the last 20 years. My children are now 20 and 18. I recently nannied for a friend while we she was at work and helped her potty train, took care of her dog, and light housework/meal prep. My one passion in life is raising and caring for children and cant wait to help you with yours!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
What don't I enjoy?! I love it all, especially cooking with the kids! I enjoy planning and doing arts and crafts, reading, puzzles, bubbles, homework, going to the park and just being present in the moment, to really listen to them and understand their individual needs. I have the patience to help children learn manners and responsibility and to gain a sense of accomplishment while they do so.

The most important aspect of being a nanny is ensuring the safety and well-being of the children under my care. This includes creating a nurturing and supportive environment, attending to their basic needs, and protecting them from harm, both physical and emotional. I want to have a real connection with you and your children this isnt just a job for me its my passion. I put my heart and soul into all the children ive cared for and love all of the special moments that happen day to day!
My experience with special needs children...
My son had ADHD and I cared for a 3 year old who was autistic. I am ready willing and able to learn how to care for your childrens needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite most recent moment was when I potty trained my best friends 2 year old son I was watching in only 3 days! She had been struggling with this for months and was at her wits end. Positive reinforcement and patience saved the day :)
