I was a counselor, and I have been a coach for volleyball and lacrosse! I have also been a babysitter, as well as a nanny!
I also was just a counselor this year at the camp in Lesterville Missouri, where there was a flood. And every kid came out of that camp safe and with no injuries! So, I’ve experienced saving kids and keeping them calm during a scary situation!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I’d say, having a good connection with the kids, depends on the age of course. But I love having a connection with them where they feel safe with me and also know they can have a fun time! I want to ensure they know we are going to have fun but also I’m there to take care of them no matter the situation.
My experience with special needs children...
When I was younger, I was a camper at camp, but the counselors struggled to get some of the kids with special needs attention, and they’d ask me to help, because I was friends with them and help them out! As longs as you’re friendly to anyone no matter what they may have, you can work things out!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Taking the kids to go see pets, like at petting zoos, or puppies! It makes them light up! And then I also love making meals together with the kids so they feel included and have their own dish part of dinner!
