A little bit about me

Hi my name is Deana, I am 53 and still very full of life. I have raised two successful young ladies and I am now an empty nester. I have worked for Arlington ISD, Crowley ISD, and FWISD as a Child Nutrition Manager for a total of 19yrs. I'm interested in a change of pace of managing K-12 Cafeterias ensuring that my students are getting a healthy breakfast and lunch and or dinner, after all sometimes a school meal may be the only meal a child receives. Since my own children are adults and no longer living at home. I find myself a little bit lost and figured why not. I can handle feeding 1390 students and keeping order in the dining hall and love it so much that I can offer babysitting, extra hands, mom and dad time, date nights, emergency situations where it's better for the kiddos to stay at home, or anything that would make a busy family's life a little easier!
