A little bit about me

I'm a mom of 4 grown children and a grandma of 8. I kept my oldest granddaughter, as an infant, when her mom went back to work, after maternity leave. Kept her until she was 4 & 1/2, when she started pre-school. Then, kept her younger siblings, ages 4 & 5 yrs old, for 13 months, while her mom worked. Have kept other grandkids on a regular basis from birth up. Took care of 2 grandsons, for as much as a week at a time, while parents traveled. Recent, a paid part-time nanny for 2 girls, ages 3 yr & 4 yrs old. Kept them from early Dec until last month, when they moved out of state. I love children of all ages, even teenagers. I was an assistant youth pastor and youth counselor for over 10 years. I'm open and willing to do laundry and meal prep for children, along with taking care of the children's needs. I'm looking for a long term part-time position, to supplement my social security income. I would love to help families or single parents in taking care of their most precious gift.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for my grandchildren on a regular basis, for the past 17 yrs now. Including for a week at a time, at their house, while parents were on vacations. The younger ones' ages range from 3 y/o to 12 y/o. The 2 older ones are teenagers now. There's 8 of them. Yes, I'm very blessed!

Playing games with them, reading them books, and helping them play dress-up.
