I've worked in private homes, as well as group homes, and daycares for well over 20yrs now.
I'm also a certified foster parent, approved through children and youth. (Did so to get custody of my God daughter when she was 9. (Shes 28 now, with a small one of her own)
I've also worked with special needs, and while I believe every child has their own "special" needs, I am referring to children (and adulrs) with (tho not limited to;) Autism, down syndrome, Cerebral palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, J & G ports, apnea, oxygen tube, , adhd, bipolar, and a few others, though even if it were the same diagnosis, anyone who spends time with these children know, no child is like the other, which is what makes it even more special!!)

(Take care of the house/home front, all the shopping, organizing and scheduling for the kids as well as any home maintenance, etc.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Almost any kind of art, exploring new places both in nature and in the area...
I prefer to take kids to places their parents don't tend to, that way when the parents go to do stuff their not told "ugh, we just did this...."

The most important part about being a nanny...
My goals are mainly to keep the kids happy, healthy, and having fun, after the responsibilities are out ot the way,, while still instilling structure, discipline, and routine.
As well as I do my best to always make sure your home, (kids included), and everything/one are just as clean if not better then you left it!!!!
My main goal, unless told differently, is to make it so you can come home after your long day and not feel like you need to do anything else for the house, just worry about you!!! 😊

The most important part about being a nanny...
Theres entirely too many to choose from, tho I must admit, once the kids are older, as most of mine are now, watching them head off to college and become these amazing little adults, even more amazing then their parents or I ever expected, is definitely my favorite part recently, though it does tend to be bitter sweet!! (They truly grow up too fast)
