Hello, my name is Deiby, I am 23 years old, and since I was 15 I have been surrounded by children. A few days ago I finished working as a babysitter from Tuesday to Saturday for two beautiful children, ages 3 and 9, whom I helped daily get ready for school, feed them, and do recreational activities. The 3-year-old boy has a special disability. They take him to therapy once a week and during the week we do activities. Therefore, I have experience with children with disabilities.

My experience with special needs children...

For a year I took care of a 3-year-old boy with special needs (ADHD). I was in charge of creating an effective learning routine for him. When he arrived, he didn't know numbers or colors. Now he says when he wants something and the colors and numbers in English and Spanish. I learned to be able to calm him down in moments of crisis, to create a calm and trusting environment for him.
