Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have done a lot of babysitting in my past whether it be for cousins/relatives, and I have also had more persistent nannying and babysitting jobs as well. I started babysitting when I was 12/13 and have done it ever since.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to bake and do crafts with the kids that I babysit. I usually bring a little craft bin with beads to make bracelets, perler iron beads, string for friendship bracelets (which tend to be popular amongst both boys and girls), coloring books, paint, and much more. I also like to take the kids outside whether it’s to a playground near by or just playing with chalk and bikes in the driveway. But I will also play board games or other activities provided by the parents. I try to stray away from technology besides hunkering down for a cozy movie night!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Connecting with the kids and making sure they are happy so that they request for me to come back. But also to be responsible and to teach the kids new things.
