What matters to me about being a nanny is the impact I leave on the children and family. I strive to create positive relationships built on trust and respect. And I think the impact I have on the children is the most fulfilling and important part about being a nanny.
My experience with special needs children...
I have been in many volunteer positions to work with special needs children. I cared for a non verbal child with autism in 2020. I learned to create a calm and predictable environment to make him feel safe. I was responsible for his two younger siblings as well, I learned a lot from this family! I truly enjoy taking care of children with unique needs, and I am passionate about creating positive experiences for all children!
