Hi, I'm Jeniah!

I'm a dedicated high school junior with a strong passion for working with children. Currently, I'm pursuing a path in early childhood development and am gaining hands-on experience as a student intern with 5th graders. I absolutely love spending time with kids and creating fun, engaging activities that encourage their creativity and development.

While I’ve had a range of babysitting experiences—both paid and unpaid—my focus is always on providing a safe, nurturing, and enjoyable environment for children. I am reliable, responsible, and always open to communicating with parents to ensure peace of mind.

I’m available to babysit on weekdays from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and flexible on weekends depending on my schedule. If there are any changes, I will inform you in advance.

In addition to babysitting, I'm happy to assist with household tasks such as meal prep, light cleaning, and any other help you may need around the house.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love making arts and crafts, making fun (and healthy) snacks, reading to children, playing with them wether inside or outside, teaching them how to be independent and responsible, and helping them use their imaginations

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me is making sure that all of the children are safe. I put safety as priority over everything, and whole I'm all for fun and giggles, I am able to gently guide children back to a more safe setting if anything gets out of hand. I also value my relationship with the children. I will never yell, hit, belittle, or neglect any child at any given time. If things get out of hand, I will simply redirect the child calmly and with ample patience.

My experience with special needs children...

I don't have any hands-on experience with special needs children, but I do observe it. My aunt works with special needs children and I observe the special needs kids at my school as a part of intern experience. I'm always open and willing to learn how to care for special needs children to expand my experience and offer the most possible care that I can for children from all walks of life.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was when I used to babysit a soldier of my father's three years old son. My father is in the Military, so I babysat quite a handful of his soldiers' kids. One of them I remember quite fondly due to the fact that I babysat him more than the other kids. I love how goofy he was and his creative mind. He always had a smile on his face and enough energy to make anyone want to join in on his playtime.
