Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve worked as a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) assistant for the past two years and am now going on my third year in that role. In addition to my classroom experience, I’ve consistently provided babysitting for several families over the years, caring for children of various ages. These roles have allowed me to develop strong skills in child supervision, engagement, and creating a safe, caring environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy engaging children in both indoor and outdoor activities that are fun, age-appropriate, and encourage creativity and development.

Indoor activities may include coloring, drawing, Play-Doh, arts and crafts, and using other toys or materials that are accessible at home.

Outdoor activities can include walks, park trips (with guardian permission), yard play, and other outdoor games depending on the weather and the child’s age. I always aim to create a safe, enjoyable environment where children can learn, explore, and have fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments is when a child feels comfortable enough to be completely themselves around me—especially when they start telling me stories they remember, get silly, or break out into a little dance. It’s those moments of trust and joy that remind me why I love working with children.
