Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Fort Pierce, FL: Clodia A.
I am currently employed at Le Petite Academy as an Infant/Toddler teacher. Becoming an Infant/Toddler teacher is a great way to contribute to my community, first by caring for the child in the absence of parents and by also teaching the child basic life skills.
My daily duties at the school consist of feeding the child, diapers changing or clothes if need be, showing affection plus greeting and communicating to parents . Beside providing these primary needs, I follow a weekly curriculum where sensory activities are implemented to stimulate the young mind. E.g. playing with jello, or playing peek a boo. Another important part of my curriculum is story time for literacy and singing for language. In addition, my classroom environment is arrange to allow the child to explore their area of interest. A report journal is recorded for each child, indicating mild stones, achievements and areas for improvements.
