In my family there’s always children newborns and up. As early as toddler on until this day I was helping to care and nurture other younger children in my family. I love to teach children and help them grow. It’s the most fulfilling and rewarding job to me!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy taking children outside when weather provides to play games outside. Whether that’s going to a park or simply playing in the yard or doing things like chalk. I enjoy reading to kids. I also enjoy teaching them things like how to read, count, and their colors. Music time is a hit for me, I love to teach them songs. I also enjoy quieter activities such as coloring.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part is to always stay calm and keep the child(ren) safe no matter what. I believe if you talk to a child calmly while on their level it creates a strong bond and understanding. I also strongly believe it is so important to always keep eyes on the child to ensure they are safe.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some small experience with special needs children but I am extremely willing to go above and beyond with a parents help to be the best nanny I can be for that personal child!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment with each child in my life is seeing the impact I’ve made on their life teaching them things. A few moments I recall especially are teaching some of my nieces and nephews things like counting to 10 or their ABC’s and the ways their faces glow. I fills my heart with joy!
