I currently work as a paraprofessional, I work one on one with kids in a classroom setting. As well as supporting and monitoring the whole classroom when needed. I’ve also worked as a behavior technician. I worked in my clients homes and implemented written behavior plans to help kids with autism reach their goals.

I enjoy playing outdoors when the weather is right. I like to play indoors as well. Coloring, painting, drawing, and building are all things I enjoy doing with kids.

Connecting with the kids is the most important part of being a nanny. Getting to know the kids you are working with is important so they feel safe and comfortable around you. As well as building good rapport with the family. Another important part of being a nanny is having flexibility and good communication skills.

I am working on my RBT certification. Which means I will be working with autistic children to help them regulate their emotions. I will implement behavioral plans to help them grow and succeed later in life.
