A little bit about me

My name is Desiree Naar and I am 22 years old. I am actively looking for a nanny job. I have had two nanny jobs so far in my experience and a ton a babysitting experience. I have worked in two preschools and one daycare since I went to school. I have a passion for you working with the little ones, observing how they learned and getting to teach them even in the smallest way. Once I complete school I plan to open my own daycare and really get started with my career. I choose to pick jobs that I can really give me more experience with children and different methods to work with them. I am in the process of completing my 45 DCF hours , also CPR and AED certified. The most important part about being a nanny...

This moment wasn’t when I was a nanny but it definitely was one of the greatest moments for me. It was nap time at my preschool, as we’re putting the children down for a nap four of them wouldn’t go to sleep unless I was rubbing their back. It just made my entire life smile because knowing most children are not even comfortable sleeping away from their parents or even their own home. It was a wonderful feeling knowing that they knew they could trust me and that in that moment everything would be okay.
