Being a nanny means showing up with kindness, understanding their needs, and helping them feel confident, valued, and happy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was on my last day babysitting a little girl I had been caring for. She surprised me with a cute drawing of the two of us surrounded by hearts and flowers, and wrote “I’ll miss you” in her best handwriting. As she handed it to me, she gave me a big hug and said, “You’re my best friend.” It was such a touching and emotional moment that I’ll never forget. It reminded me how special the bond between a child and caregiver can be, and how much love and trust can grow from simply being there, listening, and having fun together.
