More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a preschool teacher at Creative World School of Cypress Springs in Alafaya, Florida for 1 1/2 years. Every week I made a lesson plan that follows with our curriculum and also a bit of Montessori education, I provided tools and resources for my children to use and explore during our learning and play activities, I adapted teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of my kids, I had also set up teacher conference’s so my children parents can see their improvement and behaviors within the classroom, etc

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing arts and crafts the most with children especially when I incorporate it into my teaching lessons! I love the ability that it gives children to express themselves freely and it also gives children an advantage to learn something new and grasp it in their own way.

What matters the most to me about being a nanny is making an impact of these children’s lives and the memories that I make with them and most importantly, the strong trust and bond that I build not only with the children but also their families as well!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment that I will never forget is when I was 17 and in high school, I was babysitting for a friend of my parents whose children’s were ages 5 & 8 and when I had went to the bathroom, they thought it would be a great idea to hide in their parent’s bedroom to scare me. Since their parents told me that their bed room was specifically off limits, and both kids knew that as well, they hid in their parents bedroom for 20 minutes because they knew that I wouldn’t go in there at first bc it’s very strictly off limits. Once they heard me on the phone with their parents while crying because I had thought I had lost them, that’s when they decided to both come out and say something!
