With older girls (6-10) I love to do the girly things they love... nails, hair, face-care, pretend makeup. Whatever they're into at the time!
For boys, we often play with legos (if parents allow screen time I'll often be beat by them in fortnite or on the switch)
With younger boys we'll play with their toys or read books, etc.
One of my favorite things to do if the weather permits is go on walks, go swimming, to the park or take single kiddos out on special dates.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Definitively establishing a connection with the kids. Having a strong, fun relationship while also them knowing I am to enforce rules and am there to keep them safe!
My experience with special needs children...
I have nannied a 15 year old girl with autism after school for a year, as well as babysitting for about 3 years a little boy with autism and down syndrome.. my little guys was nonverbal!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment has to be the family of 4 I've grown up with for the past almost 8 years. I watched the littlest one (C) be born and saw him and the rest of his siblings grow up. The girls and I have a special attachment, and even though the now 13 year old is to cool for me ;) we'll always be best buds. The entire experience has been one of the best in my life.
