I was a team member and manager of The Little Gym of Puyallup throughout high school and college where I worked with children of all ages in various programs and educational classes!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to be outdoors! All things sports, walks, bike riding, trails, or anything your family is interested in! I am a yoga teacher as well and love to incorporate fun yoga games and activities with the children too. I have a background in musical theatre so dance, music, and singing are all things I would love to share. Art, reading, and creative projects are some of my favorite indoor activities as well.

My experience with special needs children...
I have worked for a family with a child on the spectrum of autism and I found that after developing a relationship with both the child and family to establish his needs we had a great experience! I still care for him from time to time when they need me and I love getting to see him.

I am a big believer that play is a tool for learning, that children are highly capable little scientists testing the world around them to learn more. I prioritize teaching social-emotional and communication skills through modeling and problem solving. By recognizing their capabilities, supporting them in developing self-advocacy skills, and giving them space to test and learn in a safe and supporting environment, I believe that we can set young children up for success later in life.
