I have been working in childcare for about four and a half years, starting as a nanny and later transitioning to a professional daycare facility. During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to care for and support children at various stages of their early development, which has deepened my passion for working with young learners. I currently major in Education at Kennesaw State University, where I’m building the knowledge and skills to become an even stronger educator. I have been dedicated to the field of childcare since 2020, gaining a range of valuable experiences along the way. I began working as a nanny in early 2020, using platforms like Care.com and Sittercity to connect with families in need of reliable, compassionate care. From January 2020 to 2022, I worked at Sunshine Academy Daycare, where I supported the developmental and emotional needs of children in a structured early learning environment. In October 2022, I joined Chroma Early Learning Academy (ELA) in Marietta, where I’ve continued to grow professionally and remain employed through 2025. These roles have allowed me to build strong relationships with children and their families, develop classroom management skills, and contribute meaningfully to each child’s learning journey.

Some of the activities I enjoy doing with children include arts and crafts, reading storybooks together, and engaging in fun learning games that support their development. I also love doing sensory play, outdoor activities like nature walks or playground time, and simple science experiments that spark curiosity. These activities not only keep children entertained, but they also help build important skills like creativity, problem-solving, and social interaction. Most importantly, I enjoy creating a safe and nurturing environment where children feel encouraged to explore and grow.
