My name is diamond I am 22 years old, i got into childcare because I’ve always been trusted to watch the children of my family, friends, and associates, I am like the universal big sis, i tend to notice things that the parents do not. I specialize in childcare for children with needs, and I can babysit just about any age, i can cook very well and I’m aware of food allergies , i looked after elders I was a caregiver for them for about 2-3 years on and off. I’ve always been a babysitter it’s something that always stuck with me. I wanted to go legit with it because I feel like a have a lot to offer. I can help them with homework, extracurricular activities, etc , i look forward to working with whatever family accepts me. I like art and singing, i can keep busy . A lot of my childcare gigs i was paid under the table so, I don’t have paystubs for it and I worked in a daycare for about a year and a half. I would travel to family houses and watch their babies there etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Caring for them as if they’re my own child. Being kind and patient , hearing them laugh, helping them through their hard moments and helping them understand their difficult feelings. Some children don’t know why they’re sad or feel a way and sometimes they just need a hug or a really silly joke , maybe a little happy dance .

My youngest brother is on the spectrum, and Ive helped children with special needs get comfortable at their daycares and in new spaces.
