Enthusiastic career nanny with over a decade of experience, primarily with children ages 10 months to 4 years. I'm passionate in children's reading & early literacy, music and art. As a nanny I am reliable, mature, communicative, resourceful and a strong problem solver. I navigate the day without reliance on screens, love to incorporate a range of music into our daily routine and adore creating opportunities for the children in my care to explore the world around them. "Diana started working with our family while COVID was very much still an active part of our daily lives. She was very engaging with our children, coming prepared with pre-planned crafts, educational music/books or outdoor activities. Once we were comfortable extending beyond our COVID bubble, Diana was always looking for various age-appropriate activities outside the house either at the library, museums, parks, farms or nature trails. Diana never relied on screens for entertainment. She also helped with the children's laundry and kept the house tidy throughout the day. She was on time to work and school pick up. Diana is excellent at managing children of wide age-ranges. She is caring and patient and as a fellow mom she truly understands the demands of parenthood. We have had several nannies, and Diana is by far the one we have kept in contact with for the longest."

I have worked as a regular weekday nanny for four different families, providing care for over 8 years. As a babysitter, I have over 10 years of experience with around 25 families - many of whom were referred by others I worked with.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading, crafts and musical involvement are my best strengths as a nanny. I love planning crafts that are creative / unique but still allow the child to create them at their stage of development. I also love outings, having the opportunity to provide a range of enrichment opportunities to contribute to their development.

Being a great nanny means serving as an extension of the parents - building trust and creating a sense of safety so children and their parents feel confident during their time away from each other. I love reading books to young children. At the age of 2, one of my nanny children would create a stack of books for me to read, then return with a new stack. By 2 1/2, she loved "reading" a few of her favorite books back to me from memorization.
