I worked as a Para Professional (or teacher's aide) for 1 1/2 years in k-12. There I helped students with their homework, and supported their mental/emotional wellbeing. I worked as a private tutor for students k-12 for 2 years after that, and now I’m working as a teacher’s aid for a substitute preschool agency.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy arts & crafts! Air-dry pottery, finger painting, writing storybooks, and scrapbooking are my favorites.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is being able to adapt. All children have different needs and behaviors. Some kids like a more silly approach, where as others like to be treated like an adult! I do a great job of meeting your kid where they're at.
