More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
For the youngest (infants & young babies):
• Tummy time & sensory play. I love laying babies on a soft blanket with high-contrast toys, crinkle books, or safe textured items to explore. Outdoors, we do “nature tummy time” under a tree watching leaves move or feeling grass (always with constant supervision).
• Mirror play & songs - Sitting with a baby-safe mirror, making faces, singing simple songs, or gentle “So Big!” games. These build bonding and early social skills.
• Baby-safe ball play - Rolling soft balls back and forth (great for cause-and-effect learning).
I especially love how these activities support development while feeling like pure play. From my experience, the key is keeping things flexible — some days we focus more on calm sensory input, other days on big movement. I always prioritize safety (active supervision, safe sleep if napping, proper diapering routines) and watch for what each child responds to best.

I love working with kids. I grew up taking care of my cousins and siblings. I am responsible, respectful, accountable and supportive. I don’t like being late or leaving things unfinished. I rather make fun activities to pass the time then to be stuck on a election device all day.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Phoenix, AZ: Mia B.
Hi! I’m Mia, a responsible and energetic college student at Arizona State University who genuinely loves working with kids. I’ve grown up helping care for my younger brother, who is 10 years younger than me and on the autism spectrum, which has taught me patience, adaptability, and how to create a supportive environment for every child’s needs.
I’ve also babysat for family friends and neighbors, worked as a youth pastor for kids ages 4–11, and even spent time as a mascot (Easter Bunny!) entertaining and engaging with children. In addition, I volunteered with Make-A-Wish for four years, which strengthened my compassion and ability to connect with kids and families in meaningful ways.
I’m great with animals, love staying active, and always aim to create a fun, safe, and positive space for kids to learn and grow. I’m reliable, caring, and truly enjoy building strong relationships with the families I work with!
