Children need to feel comfortable, supported, and cared for while their parents are away. A great nanny should be patient, attentive, and nurturing while also helping children learn, grow, and develop good habits. Building a strong relationship with both the child and the parents through communication, reliability, and respect is also very important.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are seeing the little milestones children reach and knowing I was there to support them. Whether it’s when they learn a new word, try a new food, or accomplish something they’ve been working on, those moments are very special. I also love when children feel comfortable enough to laugh, play, and show their personality around me. Being able to create a happy and safe space for them is what makes being a nanny so rewarding.
