I raised my four children, worked as a preferred long term substitute teacher with the Clark County School District, I’ve babysat in my home and took care of my the two year old granddaughter during the pandemic.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like age appropriate activities. If the child is a baby, I like going for walks with the stroller, playing on the floor with toys, holding them. If the child is school age I like taking them to the park, the library, the movies, museums, help with homework, crafts, puzzles, play in the backyard. I can watch but not participate with any level of excellence in the following activities such as dance, martial arts, music, singing, gymnastics, riding bikes and skateboarding.

Aside from watching over siblings and family for years, I use to also volunteer at a local elementary school from my middle school years to my high school years (roughly 4 or 5 years) where I assisted some teachers with tutoring and classroom help.
One of my first jobs was a child watch program at the YMCA. I worked there for a few months before I was transferred to the wellness department. Even once transferred, I continued to pick up some shifts with the child watch program.
Overall, I have learned a lot through my experiences watching over and helping children.
Kids are impressionable, so I enjoy building a bond and making memories with them.
