The most important part about being a nanny...
Safety is the #1 priority, you have nothing without it. But a strong second is learning the children, learn and make mistakes. Because they become stronger because of it, then they know what to do better next time until they get it. I love teaching independence but to learn how to ask for help when needed. This approach helps build leaders that can think for themselves without the guilt of needing to know everything.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experienced with children with diabetes, I grew up caring for my little brother and grandfather with diabetes and I understand the blood sugar levels and things need to keep them healthy

I love all my kids, when I get baby girl to smile every time she’s with me, even tho she’s not the best with new faces.
When one of the 6-year-old, I was watching would keep calling his mom to ask when I can come over again and he invited to his birthday party.
