Although I spent most of my years as a stay at home mom, I have gained lots of experience through my volunteer work.
In addition to many years as a qualified child care provider for several families, I was also a teachers aide, Cub Scout keader, Girl Scout keader, and little league coach.
I've always had a house full of jids. Now that mine are all grown up with families of their own, I really miss being around children. They are fascinating little people!
I will help teach them, play with them, read to them, and respect them.

When I was s cubscout leader, I had an 11 year old boy join my den. He was very shy, had a bad stutter, and could not read. Our den all worked together to teach him how to read and come out of his shell.
That few months, he learned how to read, lost his stutter, and gained a world of confidence.
A few years later I saw him, and he said to me,"I can never thank you enough for helping me. You changed my life."
That was my finest nanny moment.
