Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Every week, I volunteer at a homeless shelter where they have program for children 2-4 years old. It’s essentially a daycare where the kids get to play freely and learn social skills by interacting with their peers. My role is to make sure everyone is safe, and feels included in whatever activity we’re doing that day
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to take kids to the park if there’s one near by or going on walks with them! But at heart I’m a homebody so coloring with them and/or playing with toys will probably be the activity we do the most.
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have any experience caring for kids with disabilities, but I’m 100% willing to learn and make any accommodations needed.
