More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Every week I would I volunteer at a homeless shelter where they have program for children 2-4 years old. It’s essentially a daycare where the kids get to play freely and learn social skills by interacting with their peers. My role is to make sure everyone is safe, and feels included in whatever activity we’re doing that day.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to take kids to the park if there’s one near by or going on walks with them! But at heart I’m a homebody so coloring with them and/or playing with toys will probably be the activity we do the most.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience in taking care of a child who was on the autism spectrum. It wasn’t easy, but it was a rewarding experience!
