A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Dominique Forrest, and I am an educator from New York City with a background in the performing arts. My first experience with teaching was starting a youth mentoring group in high school. This passion for education continued through college where I started a music program at the center for social innovation. I continued teaching through the pandemic for a charter school, and have since worked as an IEP instructor for Atlanta public schools, and a Daycare teacher at various private facilities. My teaching style combines personalized lesson plans, with creative and effective strategies for knowledge retention and comprehension. I love broadening children’s horizons with activities such as arts and crafts, story time, nature walks, learning new music techniques, and so much more!
