More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In my experience as both a tutor and a nanny, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with children in various settings. As a tutor, I focused on helping kids with their homework and building their confidence in subjects they found challenging. It was rewarding to see them grasp concepts and grow in their abilities.
As a nanny, my role extended beyond academics to include creating a nurturing environment where children felt safe to express themselves. I organized fun educational activities, encouraged their interests, and supported their emotional needs. Whether it was guiding them through a tough day or celebrating their successes, I aimed to be a reliable and caring presence in their lives. Each experience taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and the joy of watching children thrive.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging in activities that spark creativity and joy in children. Arts and crafts are always a hit; it’s amazing to see their imaginations come to life. We might also enjoy outdoor adventures, like playing games at the park, where they can run free and discover. Storytime is another favorite—getting lost in different worlds together can be so magical. Cooking simple recipes together can be fun, too, allowing us to bond while learning something new. Ultimately, I cherish any activity that fosters connection, laughter, and a sense of wonder.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building a genuine connection with the child and their family. It’s about creating a safe, nurturing environment where the child feels loved and understood. Compassion, patience, and attentiveness are key—being able to listen, engage, and respond to their needs helps foster their emotional and social development. Ultimately, it’s about being a trusted partner in their growth, learning and happiness.
My experience with special needs children...
While my experience with special needs children is more limited, I have had the opportunity to support a few wonderful kids in both nannying and tutoring roles. During this time, I focused on being attentive to their individual needs and learning styles. I learned the importance of patience and flexibility, adapting activities to ensure they felt comfortable and engaged. I approached each interaction with an open heart, trying to create a safe space for them to express themselves. Though my experience is minimal, I’m eager to learn and grow in this area, and I genuinely believe in the value of every child’s unique journey.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a child I cared for had a tough day and just needed some extra comfort. We watched his favorite movie, read their beloved story, and talked about what was bothering them. As they opened up, I could see the weight lifting off their shoulders. When they finally smiled and said, “I feel better now,” it reminded me just how powerful those small moments of connection can be. It was a beautiful reminder that being there for them, emotionally and physically, is what truly matters.
