A little bit about me

Hello! I’m Dorothy. I’m currently a college student at the UMN Twin Cities studying Acting in the BFA program! I worked for two and a half years at The Legacy of Saint Anthony, an assisted living facility. My main position was as a server in the dining room, but I also assisted in other roles as needed including as a hostess, dishwasher. helping with restocking inventory. At the Legacy, I learned how to approach work with patience and compassion whilst building positive and trusting relationships with my residents. Because I worked in assisted living, I was trained in first aid and CPR, as well in how to accommodate those with dementia or any physical limitations. I believe this opportunity build my patience and understanding. Additionally, I’ve had many jobs babysitting young children for long periods of time that included meal prep, cleaning, and helping with schoolwork. Overall, I would love to help out whenever I can, especially over breaks and on weekends. Thank you!
