I have a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology & Biostatistics and a focus on Maternal & Child Health. Caring for children has always been a passion of mine, and I love creating a safe, engaging environment where they can learn, explore, and feel supported. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve cared for children from newborns through 12 years old in a variety of settings. I’ve been babysitting since I was 14 years old, worked as a nanny, spent three years at a before- and after-school childcare program, and supervised learning pods during COVID. I’ve cared for infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and multiple siblings, helping with meals, naps, homework, transportation, educational activities, and daily routines. My experience has taught me how to adapt to each child’s unique personality and developmental stage.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy planning activities that are both fun and educational. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, reading, sensory play, outdoor adventures, music and dancing, imaginative play, science experiments, baking, puzzles, and age-appropriate educational games. I love limiting screen time whenever possible and encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence through play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is building trust with both the children and their parents. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, loved, and understood. My goal is always to create a positive, nurturing environment where children can learn, have fun, and develop independence while giving parents peace of mind that their children are in caring, capable hands.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with special needs, including adolescents with Down syndrome (ages 13–15) and children with behavioral disorders (ages 5–13). Every child is unique, and I believe in providing patient, compassionate, and individualized care. I work closely with families to understand each child’s needs, strengths, and routines so I can create a supportive, safe, and encouraging environment where they can thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite parts of being a nanny is watching children accomplish something they’ve been working hard toward, whether it’s taking their first steps, learning to read, mastering a new skill, or simply gaining confidence in themselves. Seeing their excitement and knowing I played a small role in helping them grow is incredibly rewarding.
