More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I'm currently going to TCC to start a career in teaching. I used to volunteer at my first grade teachers classroom throughout my high school career before I moved here to Oklahoma. And I am the oldest of 6 younger siblings and 3 younger cousins that I helped take care of and raise for as long as I can remember.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing piano, drawing, writing, listening to music, watching movies and TV shows. I also enjoy doing things like riding longboards, bikes, drawing with chalk, going to the movies, going to the aquarium, going to the zoo, and going swimming.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me is making sure that the kids that I'm watching are safe and happy. And if they're not happy, then I want to help them figure out what's wrong to get them to where they want to be and what is going to be best for them. I also love helping children learn. I love helping them and watching them figure things out and realize that they now have a new skill or new knowledge that they can use in the future. They get this lit up face of accomplishment and happiness that is so wholesome.
My experience with special needs children...
All through middle school and part of high school, I chose the extra curricular activity of being a helper student in the special needs classrooms. I would help them with their school work and projects.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was nannying a little girl who was non verbal for the most part. She would mainly just repeat whatever you said back to you. I started reading a little picture book to her routinely every time I saw her. Her mother reached out to me saying “I know you’ve been reading this to her every day” and she sent a video of her reading the book out loud to her mom and it made my heart so happy! She was reading it by herself without anyone reading it out loud to her.

Babysitter Available in Pensacola, FL: Jay M.
I'm very responsible and caring and want to help families by providing a safe fun environment for their children while also helping out the parents in what they may need an extra hand in. As the eldest daughter i've been taking care of younger siblings since I can remember and have been single handling taking care of my youngest brother who is special needs since I was 13! I love creating fun activities and projects, cleaning, and most importantly keeping those in my care safe. I feel I must add anything I earn is going towards a car fund so I can help fully in anything the family may need.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Pensacola, FL: Alexis T.
Hi! My name is Alexis. I currently live in Pensacola. I have experience both as an infant room leader at a daycare, and a private Nanny. My fist long-term nannying job was for a military family with 3 young boys, and I traveled to Kansas for 6 months to be a nanny for a family with 3 middle schoolers (this family had twins) in 2018. I have also done destination nannying in other states for families while the parents went on vacation. I took some time (2 years) to work as an office manager and bookkeeper, but I missed nannying. I adore children and feel it is my calling to help them grow. My most recent position has been with twin 4 year old girls and a 2 year old boy. The majority of my nannying positions have only ended because the families have been military and were relocated. I am not opposed to helping with housework or animals.
