I taught ballet, tap, and musical theater to kids in after-school and community programs, helping them build confidence and creativity. I enjoy doing a mix of creative and developmental activities with children. Indoors, I love reading stories, doing arts and crafts, dance or music time, and educational games that build confidence and manners. The most important part about being a nanny is curating an environment of grace, safety, and growth where children feel seen, valued, and inspired every day. My experience with special needs children...
I’ve worked with children on the autism spectrum and those with ADHD, including my own child, so I understand their needs wholeheartedly. I’ve supported children with special needs for as long as I’ve worked in childcare and the arts. To me, they’re no different than any other child they simply have their own unique way of expressing themselves. I focus on inclusion, patience, and creating an environment where every child feels comfortable, capable, and celebrated.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was teaching a little girl her first ballet routine. She was shy at first, but by the end, she was twirling with the biggest smile, so proud of herself. Moments like that remind me why I love what I doseeing children light up with confidence when someone believes in them.
