Hi, I’m Dymon Humphrey ! I’m a Virginia Tech Dec 2020 graduate w/ a passion for kids!

I have 4 years of experience working at many daycares between Blacksburg and Smithfield Va, including my local YMCA and nannying /babysitting for multiple families in the Blacksburg and 757 Area!

I enjoy bike rides , creative art projects and going to the park with the kiddos! I am also CPR/First Aid certified and can provide plenty of references.

I am currently offering care in my home in Benns Grant (Smithfield ). If drop off seems like a potential option that you would like to consider , and you would not mind your kiddos making some new friends ! ( As I currently have a 1 year and 6 month old!) I would love to talk more details.

I have a little background in caring for children with autism .

My nephew is a 3 years old and I’ve cared for him plenty of times.

I believe that each child is unique. And I have no problem caring for any child with special needs!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I worked a daycare in Suffolk, Va. (Childrens Harbour ) starting my freshman year of college in the summer . But I would return and work on Christmas breaks /Summer Breaks for two years !

I remember one of my favorite babies in the Waddler (Pre toddler) Ro who may have been 1.5 years old at the time . I was determined for him to remember and say my name by the end of the summer .

Long story short , I may have been asking for too much BUT he eventually called me “D” and that was good enough for me !

One of my favorite things about nannying is how a child can truly light up a room . It’s very hard to be upset (for long anyways ) when working with children . They never cease to make you laugh /and smile throughout the course of their development. And that’s really what I love to be a part of .
