I enjoy planning age-appropriate outings and activities such as trips to parks, museums, libraries, outdoor play, arts and crafts, and other experiences that allow children to explore and learn. I have also supported children with their schedules, including school routines, sports, lessons, and other commitments while making sure they feel comfortable and supported.

The most important part about being a nanny is building a meaningful and trusting relationship with both the child and their family. I believe the most impactful part of childcare is the connection you create. It’s the opportunity to positively influence a child’s emotional development, social skills, and experiences while nurturing their curiosity, independence, and growth. It’s about being part of their journey of discovering who they are while also becoming a trusted part of their family’s journey.

Being a nanny is more than a job; it is about creating an environment built on respect, communication, and genuine connection. I understand the relationships formed with children and families can leave a lasting impact, and I believe these experiences help us all learn, grow, and see the world in new ways.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for a young child with autism and supporting their individual needs. This experience taught me the importance of patience, understanding, flexibility, and taking the time to learn each child’s unique way of communicating and expressing themselves. I learned that every child has their own strengths, personality, and way of seeing the world.

Building a trusting bond with them was one of the most rewarding parts of my experience. Through patience, consistency, and understanding, I was able to create a connection where they felt comfortable, supported, and understood.

One of my favorite nanny moments was seeing a child I cared for gain confidence while trying something new.
