The most important part of being a nanny is building trust with both the child and the family. This means always keeping children safe, being reliable and consistent, and providing genuine care and patience each day. A nanny should create a loving and secure environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and understood, while also maintaining open and honest communication with parents. When trust, safety, and compassion are prioritized, children are able to grow, learn, and feel confident in the care they receive.
My experience with special needs children...
I am currently caring for a 5-year-old child with autism and special needs. My responsibilities include administering medication, providing G-tube feedings, and supporting daily routines. I also plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that support his development, comfort, and well-being. I hold a CNA license and have over four years of childcare experience, which has strengthened my skills in safe, attentive, and compassionate care. I am open to both part-time and full-time positions and flexible with scheduling to meet a family’s needs

One of my favorite moments is watching a child grow more confident over time, whether it’s learning a new routine or feeling proud after completing an activity. Being part of that growth is very rewarding.
