One of my favorite nanny moments was when I was getting ready to leave and saying goodbye. One of the children stopped me and said, “You forgot to give me a hug.” I laughed, ran back, and gave them the biggest hug. Moments like that remind me how important it is for children to feel loved, safe, and cared for. Parents can feel confident knowing I will care for their children with genuine love and attention, as if they were my own.
