A little bit about me

I’m 18 years old from New York City. I am the oldest of my siblings and of my first cousins. Freshly graduated from high schools and take online college classes. During high school and middle school I babysat for close friends or family or the children of my mother’s work associates. I also did hair through my last year of high school and also specialize in doing hair on children on the spectrum. I have plenty of experience with children on the spectrum at different parts of the scale and get along well and never have any issues with triggers or tantrums. I tend to be a more engaging and firm authority figure while creating a controlled, safe and comfortable environment. I believe in creativity and making dreams come true. I love to teach my skills to others and offer a helping hand whenever possible. I’m good with house work, multitasking and creating and sticking to routines and schedules.

My experience with special needs children...

I do hair for special needs children
I have special needs family members who are special and have observed them through different stages. I can handle manic behavior as well as anger and tantrums from children on the spectrum including violent outbursts. I’ve seen the toughest situations and the easiest. I’ve also had experience with non verbal children as well and have been able to care for them accordingly. I’m careful to remember triggers and am willing to learn any tricks to soothe sensory issues or tantrums.
