Some activities I enjoy doing with children are those that combine fun and learning. I love doing arts and crafts projects where kids can use their imagination while practicing fine motor skills things like painting, coloring, or making simple DIY crafts. I also enjoy reading storybooks together and asking questions about the story to help with language and comprehension skills. Outdoor play is another favorite, whether it’s going for walks, or doing scavenger hunts that teach kids about observation. I like adding in simple educational games, such as counting while playing with toys, learning colors and shapes, or doing age appropriate puzzles that make learning feel like play. Overall, I enjoy creating moments that are both engaging and help children grow in a fun, positive way.

My favorite nanny moment was during the holiday season, just before Christmas break. We worked on a fun arts and crafts project, making festive paper ornaments while listening to music and sharing stories about family traditions. The children’s laughter and excitement made it a truly special and memorable experience.
