A little bit about me

Hi ! My name is Elena, I am currently a toddler instructor at kindercare learning center! I have been exploring the childcare career for a bit under a year now and have recently decided that I would like to move towards nannying to better focus 1-3 kids rather than at a 7/1 ratio. I think that both the children and I will find a more 1/2/3 to 1 ratio to be much more productive and worthwhile in their growth and learning!
I also have a 8 year old golden-doodle named Dexter and 2 cats, Theo and Wesley (1 and 2 years old). I tend to get along well with all household animals i’ve met.
In addition to my 10 months preschool experience, i have house, pet, plant, and babysat for family and close friends over the years.

I am currently a teacher at kindercare learning institute !! I teach 2 year olds anywhere from 24 months to 36 months, but have experience in the classroom with 2 and under as well!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything outdoors like swimming, water tables, chalk, or walks can be great options for summertime !! I also love all creative activities from coloring to collages, painting, drawing, or a fun pinterest craft !! I also particularly enjoy working with kids around the world 3-6 age where imagination play becomes a lot more common (always super fun lol)
