More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have volunteered to help children when it came to babysitting them, I babysitting a lot of of my family members as well. I also worked with my special-needs cousin babysitting while my uncle is at work. I’m good at meal prepping as long as I have a list of the allergies the kids may have. If there’s any specific things, the kids should or should not do. I would like to be aware of that. I will most likely carry a folder around with me to make sure I have a list of everything so I don’t forget.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I grew up playing sports like softball and field hockey. I have played soccer a little bit of football and some basketball. I do like to be outside. The heat gives me a little headache, but as long as I stay hydrated, I am perfectly fine. And any activities the kids might like I am open to listening. The only thing I really don’t like to play with is slime, putty, or messing with any type of bug or insect or snakes
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is watching the kids grow up and enjoying their time. But also being there for them and supporting them or having them talk to me if they can’t talk to their parents about stuff. If it is really urgent stuff that should be discussed with the parents. I have no problem to sit down with the parents and have a conversation with them.
My experience with special needs children...
My uncle lives in Oklahoma he used to visit a lot and work. I would watch my 16-year-old cousin with autism all the time. It takes a lot of patience that I have met the need for with a lot of parents. I tried my best to listen to whatever they may need or want to talk about or do
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would have to be when I have offered to stay the night and just camp out in the living room watching a movie ordering some food and just have a good time.

I’m a college student and college athlete, I’ve worked as a caretaker for geriatric patients for a little while, i am a certified medical assistant, and ekg tech, and i have my cpr and basic life support license. Although I would like to have a healthcare forward job and put my certifications to use, my classes and athletics don’t make that possible for this moment. I take care of my grandma weekly and I have experience around caring for others!

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in St. Augustine, FL: Tania P.
Hello, my name is Tania Perea. I recently relocated from California to Florida with my family. I have a wonderful 5 year old daughter who inspires my love for working with children.
I have experience working in a preschool environment, where I enjoyed helping create a safe, fun, and supportive space for young learners. While my daughter attended a cooperative preschool, I served as the President of the Parent Board. In that role, I coordinated events, worked closely with teachers and families, organized meetings, and helped strengthen the school community. The experience allowed me to develop strong leadership, communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
I am passionate about working with children and families and enjoy creating positive, welcoming environments where children can learn and grow. I am dependable, compassionate, organized, and eager to continue making a meaningful impact in my community while growing professionally.
