One of the kids that I was a nanny for one time all of a sudden stood up for the first time by himself, took a couple of steps, stopped, turned around, looked right at me, and plopped right down on the ground on his booty and said "oof." I thought it was one of the funniest and cutest things I've ever seen in my life. I've experienced another sweet, sweet moment when I was putting down one of my kids, I went to try to put him in his crib, and he held on to my neck and said, no, no, please don't put me down! You are the only way I'm able to fall asleep. I love you so much; please don't put me down, let me go to sleep in your arms. My heart just melted into a million pieces; it was so sweet.
