Hey there!
I have worked with kiddos for several years, I worked as a co teacher through an early learning academy for ages 2-4. Later I got a position working as an ELA tutor for 5th graders who were struggling with their reading and writing. I think children have brilliant, curious, and exuberant minds and I love expanding my world view by looking at theirs.
I intend to provide a safe and caring environment while caretakers need to go take care of themselves! I truly believe kids have the ability to make us kinder and more creative individuals. Taking the time to foster those qualities in kiddos also fosters them in ourselves!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Ugh! When I was working with 2 year olds we'd always sit down and have our morning chat as I drank my coffee and got ready for the day. A lot of the kiddos would grab mugs and drink their "coffee" or "tea" with me in the morning. It was always a cute little game, so I asked one of my students what he was drinking that morning and he shouts, "WHISKEY!"
To say the least, I had a hard time holding in a burst of laughter. The rest of my day was filled with little toddlers running around saying they were drinking whiskey.
