The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. Children need more than someone to watch over them; they need someone who is patient, attentive, dependable, and genuinely invested in their growth and happiness. I think it’s especially important to make every child feel heard, understood, and supported while encouraging their independence and confidence. I want the children in my care to know they always have someone who believes in them, celebrates their accomplishments, and makes them feel safe enough to express who they are. Building that bond with both the children and their families is what makes being a nanny so meaningful to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments in childcare is seeing the growth in the children I’ve cared for, especially watching shy children come out of their shells and become more confident in themselves. Seeing them gradually open up, express their personalities, try new things, and feel comfortable being themselves is so rewarding. I love knowing that by creating a safe, loving, and encouraging environment, I can help children feel seen, heard, and valued. Watching their confidence grow and seeing them become more comfortable expressing who they are is one of the most meaningful parts of caring for children. Those little moments remind me why building trust and making every child feel special is so important to me.
