Hey , My name is Elise Daigle ,
I am a first year student at the university of utah studying early childhood education. I am from montana originally but have lived in utah for the past 8 years! I love everything outdoors , i love to hike , ski, bike and climb. i'd love to take your kiddos outside on adventures, little walks to the park , bike rides really anything your kids are interested in. I love working with kids i've been a nanny for the past two years for 2 families but have worked with kids since i was around 14 years old , mostly just as needed babysitting jobs here and there. i've worked with kids from under 1 to 11 years old. i love being a nanny mostly just for the connections your able to make with the kids i think it's super valuable to work with kids and help them navigate life as they start to grow into the person they are!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

i nannied for a family with 3 kids for a summer , twins that were 8 , and one that was 10 .

i've also nannied for a family with 3 girls , they were , one , three and six . i stoped watching them because i moved and the commute no longer worked .

i've also nannied a 5 year old she was great , i still watch her occasionally!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

i love to take kids on walks to the park, hide and seek , arts and crafts ( painting , chalk, clay , coloring, ect) , reading books , museums , going to the pool, the library, farmers markets ,

The most important part about being a nanny...

to make memories with the kids , through all the ups and downs and helping them to grow up to be the best person they can be. as well as being someone they trust and a safe space to run when they need it , having someone there i think is really important for there independence, it allows them to explore life at an extent on there own while having a safe place to run if things are hard .

My experience with special needs children...

i have not had any yet , but i'm very patient and willing to learn !

The most important part about being a nanny...

my favorite moment has to be when i read bed time story's and they fall asleep on me half way through there pile of books , it reminds me of when i was a kid and i absolutely love how precious those moments are .
